Our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Pond, had 4th graders examine and analyze the sharp facets and textures of various rocks and minerals before translating their scientific observations into detailed crystal cluster sketches. What a great way to tie in science and art! 🖼️

Check out our amazing 4th grade ELA teachers (L to R: Ms. Connell, Mrs. Bowring, and Mrs. Grubb) dressed up like the main character in this week’s tall tale Thunder Rose. The students were surprised by their teachers’ getup and were engaged with the story! 🤠

Major Smith came in to read to 1st grade students last week. The students loved listening to his thoughtfully selected stories. Major Smith also took the time to answer questions about his career in the military, types of military planes, and how he uses reading and writing in his job!
