🍂🎉Radford M. Locklin is teaming up with Manna Food Bank for a Thanksgiving Food Drive! 🥫🦃 This is an opportunity for our students, staff, and alumni to come together and give back to our community. From now until November 19th, we’re collecting non-perishable food items that will help ensure everyone has a warm meal this holiday season.

Drop-off locations are set up in each classroom and we will also be collecting food items at the Alumni Homecoming event on November 18th. If you are a member of the community but would also like to participate, please drop off your donations at Student Services in Building 2.

Let’s show our gratitude by making this Thanksgiving a little brighter for those in need. Thank you for your generosity and support! ❤️

🔧🔥Our Welding Technology class has successfully completed the development and construction of a platform designed to replicate real-world scenarios! This tool is an incredible leap forward in preparing our students for the challenges they will face on the job.
While mastering welding in a booth or on a table is crucial, it's only the beginning. Our new platform offers a unique opportunity for students to apply their skills in environments that mirror those they will encounter in the field. This hands-on experience is invaluable in ensuring they are fully prepared for their future careers.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. By providing a space where students can practice under conditions similar to those in the industry, we're helping to build confidence and competence.
We are incredibly proud of our students and instructors who have worked to bring this project to life. Their dedication and hard work are paving the way for a new generation of skilled welders ready to take on the challenges of the industry.
