This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in digital media, new media, and multimedia positions in the Information Technology career cluster. The coursework includes:
- 150 Hours Information Tech Asst.
- 150 Hours Presentation Specialist
- 150 Hours Presentation Graphic Artist
- 150 Hours Web Production/Design Asst.
An overview of the skills needed for entry-level positions in this career field are provided through practical experiences in digital photography, Web page design, digital video editing and presentation development. Specialized skills in multimedia presentations and production such as video editing, audio input, and simple animation are used to produce a variety of multimedia projects.
