Automated Accounting

This course is designed for persons who have had at least one year of high school accounting/bookkeeping and would like to acquaint themselves with the microcomputer and its functions in the accounting field.

Basic Keyboarding

This course is for the student who needs to learn the keyboard or refresh lost typing skills. The course is self-paced, using a computer and software to teach key placement, accuracy and speed.

Excel, Basic or Advanced

Learn the basics of Excel, what it is, how it works, and then see how some of the programs in the Microsoft Office System help you use Excel.

Internet, Basic or Advanced

These classes are designed to introduce and give the student experience surfing and searching the Internet to find information.

Introduction to Computers

This course is for beginners. It serves as an introduction to the computer and how it operates. Hands-on experience with computers is provided. Purchase of textbook is required.

Microsoft Word, Basic or Advanced

This course will include how to create, edit, print and store documents using Microsoft Word. Purchase of textbook and diskette is required. Typing skills of 35 wpm is recommended.

Quickbooks Pro 2006

This course is designed for persons who have some basic computer and accounting experience wishing to familiarize themselves with this popular accounting software. This is challenging software to learn. Requires purchase of textbook and box of 10 diskettes.

Windows, Basic or Advanced

The student will learn the multitasking environment, file management, and more. Purchase of textbooks and diskette is required.
